Baby Pink Romper

It is July, which means the summer heat is in full effect. I have always been a fan of rompers since I do not have to waist time trying to pair tops and bottoms. Rompers really are a one stop shop and I love that.

This particular romper is light pink. I has a cinched elastic waist, as well as a bow tie feature in the front. It was a no brainer that I had to purchase thus piece. It is comfortable, lightweight and super chic.

If you had to choose, would you do away with dresses or rompers?

Cargo Pant Style

Cargo pants are definitely a favorite of mine at the moment. They are so versatile. They can be dressed up with a pair of heels or dressed down with a pair of sneakers. Of course, I decided to go with the heels. I am becoming more obsessed with cargo pants, as they are very comfy, breathable and the extra pockets are amazing. If you haven't noticed by now, I love pockets.

I paired these pants with a white button down shirt, that I tied up in the front. While I love waist belts, I figured I would pair this with a purse belt, since this one is my current fave. Of course the hat was a no brainer, as the sun was very disrespectful on this day.

What are your favorite kind of pant at the moment?

One Sassy Momma

Hello everyone! I am 4 months into mom life, and it has been such an amazing journey. After having my son I did not feel like myself some days. I wanted to look nice when I left the house, but form fitting clothes made me feel uncomfortable in my own skin. I've always been a fan of babydoll dresses, and Lord knows I am so happy that they exist. This dress is casual, cute and most importantly it has pockets.

This baby blue babydoll dress was purchased from Zara. I love silver, so I had to pair it with my silver heels. Being a mom is a great responsibility, but we owe it to ourselves to feel like "us" again. This is truly a journey I am looking forward to.

Have an amazing day!

Cutout Shoulders and Baby Blue

This post is special to me.Today I will let everyone in on my little blessing. Yes, I’m pregnant! Yes, I’m slaying! No, I am not your average pregnant woman! Although it took awhile for me to start showing, I was determined that when I did I would still be sassy (for as long as possible). I found this really cute blue and cream romper at Zara. The shoulders are cutout and have a ruffle detail. What I loved most about this romper was the wide leg shorts. It is flowy like a dress, but it gave me a sense of security knowing if the wind blew I was fine. Here comes baby! #BumpApprovedSass

Cropped High Waist Pants Are a Casual Jackpot

There is nothing wrong with dressing up, but it’s always okay to have a casual moment. You can totally dominate a casual outfit that’s still perfect for a weekend or to go to brunch. An outfit you can put on loafers with during the day, and then change to a pair of heels for dinner. Never underestimate a cute pair of cropped pants, they can be a staple piece in your wardrobe with limited effort. Can you pull off this casual sass?

White Striped Shirt Dress

Stripes are a classic pattern, and black & white are a classic combination. With that being said This dress is a classic. I’m always intrigued by a cute button up shirt to wear with my shorts or anything else I can pair it with. In this case I won in every aspect. I got a button up striped dress, which means I only have to ponder on picking a shoe to wear and not finding a bottom to wear with it.  Of course I put on a black shoe to wear with my “classic” find, and a waist belt to add a bit of sass. How do you feel about button up dresses?

Trench Vest

Here comes spring! Although I am enjoying winter, I am ready for Spring. I saw this trench inspired dress and knew it was meant to be in my closet. I’ve always loved trench coats, but I rarely get to wear them. This was a no brainer for me. I couldn’t wait to put this on with my heel of choice, and on this day I chose this clear and black pair to finish this look. Come on spring sass!

Velvet Wine Flare Pants

My Florida winter is crop top worthy as you see. The weather was just right to pull off this look, and I went for it. These high waisted velvet flare pants are everything! I’m not sure who decided to bring velvet back, but I am thankful. They are comfortable, warm, and in style. I had to wear a crop top to give all glory to the pants, and of course the biker jacket is a must. I put on a cute hat and slayed the day. Sass has never been so chic!

Mauve Faux Suede Overall Dress

I love winter, however Florida does not always have winter weather. So when we have cool weather, I love to take advantage of it. I found this mauve faux-suede overall dress and fell in love. I had recently purchased these lace-up lug boots and I knew this dress would go perfectly with them. To complete this look I put on a black 3/4 sleeve button up shirt, opaque black tights, and a black beret. Casually sassy!

DIY Diaper Wreath

Have you ever been to a "Diaper Drop"? Neither had I, but when a friend decided she would throw one for our mutual friend (and her hubby) I was excited to partake in the festivities. So the whole event involves you bringing diapers instead of gifts like a normal baby shower. When I originally heard diaper drop I was thinking of all the pretty ways I could wrap a box of diapers with big bows and ribbon, however what you probably do not know about me is that my creative mind tends to run wild. This gave me the perfect excuse to craft something, that was more personable than beautifully wrapped diapers and so I did. I considered making a diaper cake, but those have become more common. I considered a diaper basket, but I thought that was too simple. So I ended up making a diaper wreath that resembles a dream catcher. To be honest, this project is a tad bit time consuming, but it was totally worth it.

To complete this DIY you will need the following:
- Wire wreath frame
- Diapers (I used a size 1)
- Artificial flowers (I used two different colors)
- Curling ribbon (I used white so it would blend with the diapers)
- Rubber bands (I used clear to blend with the diapers)
- Thread (I used crochet thread)
- Your choice of decorative ribbon (I chose 4 different colors)

Since this was my first time making a diaper wreath I did not record the entire process, but I do have a few pictures. This DIY was just too cute to not share it. Here is my Dream Catcher Diaper Wreath!

Black strapless Sequin Mini Dress

A lot of women bring in the new year at 12:00 AM in a sparkly and super eye catching outfit, but why not continue that on the actual 1st day of the year. Dressing up   is fun, and I’m sure you can find somewhere to get dressed up and go. Try dinner with your other half, drinks with your friends, or find a party or event to start your new year off with a bang. For this look I chose to do a black strapless sequin mini dress. To continue the sparkly look I wore my favorite silver heels, chandelier earrings, and clutch. Have a sassy new year!

Sequin Pants for New Year's Eve

Here I am, dancing into the new year. I don't know about you, but I love to get dressed up for the new year. Usually women try to find the perfect New Year's Eve dress. Something that makes us feel good so we can bring the new year in feeling as great as we think this upcoming year is going to be. Well, while I was out looking for my dress I ran across these silver wide leg sequin beauties and I must say it was love at first sight. Don't limit your options ladies. Pants are great, especially for my ladies in the northern states that get to experience real winter weather. These particular pants are comfortable, and easy to move in. You literally get to dance all night, feel comfortable, look great, and still wear the sequin you have been waiting to get into all year. It's a win either way!

Holiday Party Outfit

It's officially December 1st, 2017!!! Although many of us are still recuperating from Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas and New Years are fast-approaching. You know what that means right? Yes, it's Holiday Party time! Well, you and I are going to start this December off right. Over the next few weeks I will be giving you Holiday Party outfit ideas, and here is the first one. Now keep in mind that I live in Florida, so I will not be wearing stocking or tights under my dresses/skirts. Our high today is literally 80 degrees, so no extra clothing is necessary. However, if you live in any states north of Florida that is actually experiencing "Fall" weather, please feel free to add a pair of stockings to complete your look.
Our first "Holiday Party" look is this green sequin shift mini dress. This look is so easy. I'm certain you can pull this off. Sequin is already eye catching, so I paired it with a subtle black pump and black clutch purse. This is definitely a look I would wear to a party whose dress code is cocktail attire. Now go find a sequin dress for your next holiday party. Have fun shopping ladies!

Tuxedo Dress

Hello beauties! I know it has been awhile, but I have not forgot about you. Like most Floridians, I love the sun, but I am so in love with this fall weather. I have literally had this blazer for months now, but it was too hot outside to wear anything with sleeves. But now that the time has come, here I am in this oversized blazer that I wore as a "tuxedo dress". I love this blazer. Not only is it light weight, but it's actually of great quality.
As you can see, this look like most of my looks is super simple. I paired this blazer with my favorite pari of shoes at the moment, my silver clutch, and a pair of black and silver earrings. This look might be for my petite girls. I am 5'3", so it is not hard for me to pull off wearing a jacket as a dress. Try this look for yourself, and tag me so I can see you. Have a great Wednesday!

Blue Plaid Shirt & Faux Leather Mini Skirt

Hello Weekend! Yes, that’s right it is Friday and I am weekend ready. I am in love with black mini skirt this season, and this Friday I decided to wear another one. This one is faux-leather with black buttons. I love it because although it’s a mini skirt, it’s not too fitted to where I can’t move about as I please. It’s cute, yet comfy…Stylish, yet functional.

This look, like all of my other looks, was super simple and I’m sure you could recreate it with little effort. I paired this black faux leather button-up mini skirt, with this blue open collar plaid button up shirt. All this outfit needed was a pair of black pumps and a cute choker. Give it a try and tag me if you recreate this look! Have a great weekend.

Diamonds & Pearls Sweater + Faux Suede Frill Leggings

Hello Beauties! Yes, I finally pulled out a sweater. Although I live in Florida I love the fall and winter seasons. Who doesn’t love cool weather? Like most people I don’t want to have to bundle up for months on end, but I don’t mind throwing on a cute sweater.
For this look I paired these super cute blush colored faux suede frill leggings with this beautiful “diamonds and pearl” gray sweater.  I popped my feet into these grey and clear pumps, grabbed my little silver purse, and I went on my way. I hope you enjoy this look as much as I do. Enjoy the rest of your week!

Blue Knot Skirt & Pinstripes

Hell everyone! Today is Monday and of course that means a new week has begun. A lot of people feel the "blues" on Monday, but don't let Monday get you down. Take Monday by the horns and enjoy the ride. A new week means new opportunities, new adventures, and new memories.

This is my take on "taking Monday by the horn". Instead of feeling "blue", I dominated in blue. This look is super simple. All you need is a black & white striped shirt, royal blue skirt, black pumps, and a cute black cross body purse. Be sure to tag me if you recreate this look so I can see you being sassy. Have a great week!

Black Faux Suede Ruffle Skirt

Good Morning Beauties! It’s Friday and I’m back with another black mini. This faux suede black ruffle mini skirt is perfect. It can be dressed up or dressed down, but for this look I chose to dress it up just a little. I paired this skirt with a rust colored button up top that has gold buttons and black trim detail. I finished this look with a pair of classic black pumps and I went on my way. Such a great look to start the weekend off right. I hope you have had an amazing week!

White Ruffle Poplin Blouse + Wide Leg Track Pants

Who said track pants aren’t for everyday style? Well these pants are definitely an exception to the rule. They are super comfortable and fashionable. They also have a zipper detail at the bottom that I thought was amazing. Whether or not you dress these pants up or down, just know either way you will look great. I paired these pants with this white ruffle poplin blouse, classic black pump, and knotted tassel earrings.
Have a great Monday!

Gingham Top with Lace Detail & Black Fringe Faux-Suede Mini Skirt

Hello beauties! It’s officially Fall, which means its time for the cooler weather to roll on in.  As you can see, I’m clearly ready for it. For this look I paired this beautiful lace detail gingham top with this fringe faux-suede mini skirt. To finish this look I put on my favorite new booties and my favorite new pair of shades, which are both from Forever 21. The links are below, so if you try this look feel free to tag me so I can see your “sass”.
Have a great weekend!
